When Two Natures Become One

Beyond the Material
For us, creating a handcrafted piece is not simply a matter of combining materials or finding an appealing design. It is also a way of expressing an idea, of giving form to something that exists beyond the object itself.
Sometimes, a creation becomes a reflection of something deeply personal. The contrast between two materials can evoke the relationship between two people: different in nature, in temperament, and in the way they move through the world, yet drawn together by something that gives meaning to both.
This is the spirit behind these new grips. Wood and antler remain distinct, each preserving its own identity, yet together they become something neither could have been on its own.
And perhaps that is what makes this union special. Not the disappearance of their differences, but the discovery of a harmony that exists because of them.
Every creation begins somewhere. Sometimes with a material, sometimes with an idea, and sometimes with a feeling that gradually finds its way into something tangible.
The new Brama grips, combining wood and red stag antler, began with a simple thought: bringing together two natural materials that could hardly be more different, yet finding a harmony between them.
At first glance, the result may seem straightforward. Two materials, joined into a single piece. But behind that union lies something more meaningful than appearance alone.
Two Different Natures
Wood comes from the plant world. It has structure, grain, and a certain consistency that allows it to be shaped with a degree of predictability. Its character is revealed through its patterns, its colors, and the direction of its fibers.
Antler belongs to a different world. It comes from an animal, shaped by nature in ways that are never entirely predictable. Its contours, textures, and markings follow no uniform pattern. Each piece carries its own character, its own irregularities, and a beauty that cannot be replicated exactly.
One material offers a sense of order and stability; the other, a more untamed and unpredictable nature. Neither needs to surrender what makes it unique.
The challenge is to bring them together without diminishing either one, allowing their differences to become the very reason they work as a whole.
The Inspiration
I imagined us together, holding each other for all the eternity still ahead of us.
Two different natures, yet one inseparable love.
I am structure, predictability, and shelter; rooted in my land, faithful to the freedom that lives within you.
You are wild and untamed, beautiful in your uncertainty, unique in every way that nature has made you.
I imagined us united, not to become the same, but to belong to something neither of us could create alone.
A love that exists because of who we are, where every difference finds its place and every contradiction finds its meaning.
And in that union, I came to understand that beyond faith, beyond what we believe possible, there is more life than our eyes can see.
